Slides

Is there a site to learn about the slides used on the cornerstone coaches?

What would you like to know, they are big slides
The Entegra Owner site might have the instructions, but you have to have a VIN # to sign up.

I am not aware of any specific location that concentrates on slides.

What are you trying to figure out?

The slides are unique to Entegra. A carryover from Travel Supreme. I have done a lot of surfing for independent information and its frustrating how little information is out there. Never had any problems getting answers from Entegra, but I keep looking for more documentation for that time when help is not available.

A few things with the slides: The coach needs to be leveled with air and not the jacks to operate the slides. That is different than most coaches as the slide are fit to the coach at ride height and not floor level of the manufacturing plant like most manufacture which gives the Entegra slides a tighter fit.

When the slide motor sounds the first hint of laboring while extending or retracting the slides STOP! Any further action to "snug up" the slide is when damage occurs to the slide stops, drive linkage and excessive torque to the motors. From the excessive torque it breaks linkage, bearings, shear pins and helps loosen motor mounting bolts.

There will be a printed check list in the "bag of books" for step by step procedure for parking and leaving a camp site. If there is not one in the bag, several have been posted here on the forum.
