Solar/Battery/Inverter Monitor system

Hi All,

I have a 2017 Anthem with the solar option. I currently have just the basic RemoteMeter RM-1 above the entry door that is suppose to monitor some things but this little panel is pointless. I need more info. Is there a monitoring system that can be installed that will give me information/stats/charts/diags on solar panels, inverter and batteries?

Knowing why you think the RM-1 is pointless would help. What other info do you need?

John,

To know more about what is coming in from your solar panels would require an upgrade to the solar controller and perhaps wiring. Your Magnum inverter panels give a fairly detailed map about what it is doing, how many amps are charging, or how many amps are inverting, what it is set to charge to and for how long, and the temperature of the batteries.

To tie this all together along with past days history consider wiring in a Trimetric battery monitor to know the state of charge of your batteries and what is actually going into or out of the battery bank in amps or watts.
