Sparks in the Cab !! 2017 Aspire 44W

This sure woke me up! Please check your breakers!
New rig, camping local until wife retires end of month. Figured before we left cross country we would camp local for a month and test everything out so no surprises down the road. Good thing!
1st time to do laundry, washer had power, dryer did not. Went to breaker it had been tripped. Reset the breaker and I had a double sparks fly out of the compartment! It tripped both the double 50 and the inverter. Reset both those and all was going ood. Called Mike at Entegra Mon morn, Tues afternoon I had a new breaker. I'm no electrician and do not want to mess with a new piece of equipment when still in warranty. Called my service guy he found it was the inverter breaker that had sparked as the wire was fried about 1.5" As he went to remove the
breaker it came out in his hand. The wire had not been secured into the breaker! With a loose
connection moving the breaker next to it cause the wire to connect and spark. Was able to pull enough wire to make a clean connection and problem solved.
Entegra sending a new breaker and will be here (CA) tomorrow!
To be safe----Check the connections in your breaker box!
Things will happen, we have to expect it, that's why we do what we do. I need to take my hat off to Entegra customer service! These guys and gals are spot on. You hear a lot of complaints from other owners of other rigs. I have not found that with Entegra in times when I needed questions answered they were right there and have always had great communication!

One of the first things I did when I got coach home.

You should check the connections in your transfer switch as well.

As part of a yearly periodic maintenance, we all should open ever panel and visually inspect and tighten all connections including electrical. Big Dawg was improperly installed. Just remember we are all on a vibe and shake table and everything will work loose over time. Put in the phone reminders. Just the way it is or you pay big

Kiawah,
That was done as well. In fact just after we got it home I was losing power drastically. Come to fine out the sylonoid in the rear compartment next to all the main switches was faulty. Not just faulty but put in un-professionally. They tighten the cables onto the post's so tight that it sheared off the post. Instead of going to the parts room and getting another switch they used a compound glue to adhear the cable to the post! Really? I called Spartan to ask if this is something they would be involved in or was it Entegra? It was Entegra. When removing the switch from the wall we found that it to was tightemd so much that it cracked two of the four corners that secured it in place.
