Spartan Chassis Recalls
There is a Post from an Owner who received a Re-Call Notice
( 22V-785 ) from Spartan possibly affecting MM & K2 Chassis from 2015 - 2019 and 2021 - 2023 regarding possible inadequate air supply under heavy braking.
We have not received a letter so I'm asking fellow Entegra Aspire & Anthem owners if any of you have ?

Insufficient Air Brake Supply Volume/FMVSS 121
A quick internet search reveals this: NHTSA_Safety_Issues (1).pdf
The recall states this: "Shyft Group is recalling certain 2021-2023 Spartan K2 RV Chassis."
No mention of other model years in that document. HOWEVER, included in that above document is a link to:

that does make reference to: 2015-2019 Spartan RV Chassis MM and K2
I haven't received any letter and had chassis ('18 Anthem with K2 chassis) service done at Spartan/Shyft in Charlotte early November '22 with no mention of this recall.

I’m surprised that nobody else seems to have confirmed getting a letter yet but me (I’m the original poster). I figured I’d be later because I’m in Canada. At least there’s a fix, but I wonder if some standard of testing changed or something because to have an insufficient air type of issue seems strange to take so long to rear its head.
Would be interested in knowing if others get a notice to understand how wide-spread the problem was.

Seeing the date on the Recall Notice Paul posted was Dec 6, 2022. Spartan seems to not be putting out any information until a deadline set by NHTSA. Too bad, they could have saved the cost of a service call while you were there, but then the word would have been out early.

Hi Chuck - We were there in service from Nov. 16 to 18. You'd think that close to the release date they'd mention it unless my chassis is not included. A heads up that you might not be able to stop in time seems important enough to mention, but what do I know. ;>)

I received my recall letter today. I have a 2015 Aspire. Solution is to "install a larger capacity reservoir."
