Spartan Fuses

I'm sure this has been covered before but can't find it. Is there a breakdown list of the Spartan fuses in the rear side compartment?
Steps in my '16 CS will no longer retract when door is closed and ignition is turned on. Will only retract when step power switch is turned off and door is closed.

Take the cap off and look at the inside of the cap and you'll find a listing of all the fuses and relays as well as a fuse puller and a couple of spare fuses.

The step power is not in the round Spartan module at the rear passenger side. It's in the compartment under the toll window.

The wiring diagram for my Kwikee steps (yours are mechanically different but probably same or similar controller) shows three fuses in the system. One for main power (toll window compartment), one in the ignition circuit and one in the step switch circuit. I don't know where the other two are located, they may not be in a fuse block but just inline with the wiring somewhere. Your problem sounds as if it would be related to the ignition wiring (yellow wire).

Please keep in mind that you coach may be different, but with that said...

Here is a post where Capt. Steve posted a picture of the fuses in his rear side compartment: http://www.irv2.com/forums/f278/wher...ml#post4880931

and here is a post where I posted a picture of the fuses in the front driver's compartment: http://www.irv2.com/forums/f278/asce...ml#post4824087

Ed,
If I may suggest check the ground wire from the step to the chassis at the chassis end. Unfortunately the coach folks don’t do much in the way of protection that point from corrosion.

If you have two fuse blocks in the compartment then most likely one is always hot and the other is ignition switched. Both blocks have a fuse for the steps.

Here's a better diagram that also shows the Entegra wiring:

https://drive.google.com/open?id=15o...a2lmEzHxJr9Lng

Also, have you noticed any other things that are ignition powered that aren't working with the ignition on? Like the dash blower fan, or the mirrors? If so the problem may be the IGN solenoid in the toll window compartment (cylindrical silver thing with 4 electrical connections). It supplies power to the entire fuse block labeled "12V IGNITION B+" which has the IGN fuse for the steps.

Failures of that solenoid are common. I think your 2016 CS still used it.
