Spartan visit
From comments on the forum it sounds like we can take our coaches in to Spartan for a PDI similar to what we can do at Entegra. Is that correct or am I expecting too much? There are some things I would like looked at, I intended to do it while we attended the owners class I conjunction with a trip to Entegra but we may not be able to coordinate the visits.

Actually, I think you'll want to do a 44 pt inspection ($100). They fix any warrantee stuff, retorque all you bolts, check the ride height, etc. Worth the money. You do need to amke an appointment, and the have electric hookups with water available on site and a dump off-site at the fairgrounds ($4).

I think Dave will agree, the best $100 dollars we ever spent. Spartan goes through chassis and more than likely will find warranty issues, Just saying.

We are going back to the plant in January to have stuff fixed. We have a significant paint issue where the paint is bubbling off and the edges and didn't bond properly at many points. We were told to expect over a week just off site at Precision. Do you know how long the inspection takes at Spartan? Is it all close together, Plant, Precision and Spartan?
Thanks!! Sounds like a long trip back in January...

We will do it, just have to figure out when. I don't think I want to drive into Michigan in December or January and I want to do it in conjunction with our Entegra PDI.

The Spartan class is super. We met some really super folks there and shared some Entegra/Spartan learning. It's well worth the time and money as well as a great time to have the 44 Pt inspection done. You can also purchase supplies while there - filters and such and be sure they meet specs.
It worked out for us to find the schedule and sign up then plan the trip to Middlebury around it.

Precision isn't that far from Entegra's Middlebury plant and is just down in Wakarusa. But Spartan is about 120 miles from Entegra up in Michigan. Good roads but winter is winter up here.
