Five German Shepherds? Really? We can clear out a dog park by just showing up with our two.

Bonnie & Tommy will arrive June 30th. looking forward to see every one there. We are enjoying our stay at Cottonwood, Corps of Engineers Campgrounds. All wanting INFO about Corps of Engineers parks see me at Spearfish or FMCA, see you soon.

Unfortunately we will be in Yellowstone till the 5th so rolling into Spearfish on the 5th staying 2 weeks. Forgot the site but I'll have the 15 Anthem with Orange Harley on the back. Keith and Julie

A few words about the Elkhorn Ridge Resort RV park in Spearfish. We spotted the park several years ago when they were first building it and have tried to get back every year. We usually set aside a month long visit. It isn’t the cheapest place to stay but we feel the overall experience is worth it.

The park is huge, level, paved, has large sites, and has many amenities. My only objection is that weeds are starting to take over some of the campground grass. The staff is courteous and helpful. The sunsets are incredible. The park is conveniently located. Spearfish is a nice town. If you are a biker note that Sturgis is about 30 miles away. Rapid City is a little over an hour away. If you use Americas Mailbox in Box Elder it’s convenient for you to pickup your mail instead of having it shipped to you. The VA hospital near Sturgis is provides outstanding care. There are a number of off-site things to do including caves, mines, Mount Rushmore, really interesting scenic drives, and much more. Deadwood is nearby and is a National Historic Landmark. There is cutting edge science in nearby Leads that is worth investigating. Much that you see is the same as it was a hundred years ago. If you attend the Entegra rally you might want to extend your visit. I highly recommend it.

Mystery Solved - Now I understand why so many Entegra's are in Elkhorn. Been here since mid June and will leave mid July & really enjoy talking to different owners about their rigs. Enjoy the rally and stay - Welcome...

One problem is that many on here use a name other than their real names (pseudonym) so often it is hard to recognize iRV2 Friends out of the masses at any rally. A suggestion, put your iRV2 pseudonym name on your coach in the windshield which will help mark you and then people from iRV2 can mark the coach and find you.

I dispensed with the thinly veiled attempt at hiding behind a fake name and use my real name.... it works a lot better.
