For those who have had their AC squirrel cage fan go out, did you order replacement from Entegra or is there a better option?

Just curious what type of rooftop air conditioner is in your coach.

The motors are pretty standard. I just checked the existing motor on mine and googled for a new one. I think I paid under $120. It took me about an hour to replace.

I ordered mine from amazon. It looks like it’s gone up about $20 since June 2019.

They’re cheaper from airxcel. If you go to their website you can call or send an email.

Entegra doesn't build the A/C Units (or any other components/appliances)
They order then for the Vendor/MFG

ID which A/C Unit you have
Goggle 'Service Manual' and/or 'Parts List' for THAT Brand/Model
Then goggle the Part number for replacement....search numerous websites for cheapest price.

Ordering thru Entegra would be like ordering an 'air filter' from the DEALER when you could go to Parts Store and get same filter 3x cheaper

Thanks everyone, I did end up calling Airxcel and new part is on the way. Shouldn’t take more than 10-15 minutes when I get the new one. Bad ones pulled off, nuts are off grey cover already...just unscrew the main cover, pop it on and put it together.
