Stabilizer Bar - 2015 Aspire

I have been told there is not an available sb for my 2105 Entegra Aspire 44B. I have asked Spartan and they have no information.

My front end is a Reyco Granning model 1600.

Any good information TIA.

If you are looking for a steering stabilizer, this was posted last week. http://www.irv2.com/forums/f278/tell...ml#post3318081

If you are looking to have better steering, Koni shock might me what you are looking for. The part number for the Aspires are later in the thread. http://www.irv2.com/forums/f278/koni...ng-297539.html

You must have a very early prototype (2105).

I'm probably going to get attacked for this comment, but here goes. There are millions of big rigs on our highways that put on more than a 100,000 miles a year. And the majority of them do not have aftermarket stuff attached to their front axle to enhance steering/safety. Yes I know that if you have a blowout it can be a hair raising experience. But adding a stabilizer does not guarantee that the pucker factor would be any less. Our independant front suspensions are state of the art technology, why mess with them?

Oops, didn't see that the op has an Aspire with a straight axle. Most of the big rigs have straight axles too

Go to Safe-T-Plus.com to view their products. Many Entegra owners have installed them.

What is the issue you are trying to solve?

On my 2013 Aspire which also had the rigid front axle (but at 14600 GAWR), once the ride height and alignment were done properly the wandering issues I had initially were all but eliminated. I could let go of the wheel and it would track straight down the road. Never felt there was any deficiency in how it handled after that. Hardly felt anything from passing trucks.

If you are talking about something like the Safe-T-Steer I am quite sure there is one that will fit your model, contact them directly.

Thanks for all the info and op's, it all is helpful.

I do have the pull right issue that is being checked. Also, I feel the need to be better informed about other safety opportunities as well. While I might handle a front tire blowout. If there is a chance to enhance the situation, I want to consider the options. The tire option seems too expensive when compared to a sb solution. Since we drove 17,000 since December 2015, I feel somewhat road experienced.

BTW, Safe-T-Steer supposedly does not make a sb for my Aspire.

The link I attached above was showing a Safe T Plus being installed on a 2015 Aspire. Isn't that what you are asking about?

It is what I am asking about but, according to their website there is no sb for an Aspire. Maybe if you DIY you can use one.

There are several posts of others with Aspires that have had them installed. Pat Bauer, Pres. of the Entegra Owners Assc. is one of them. Might try the green search bar in the upper right hand corner and see if you can locate one of the posts. Hopefully one of them will see this post and give some advise.

2015 Aspire steer axle track and sway bars

Al-travelers,

Our 2015 Aspire 44B steer axle has both a track bar and sway bar. When we first got it, it drove badly. We greased the front axle and adjusted the tires air pressure to 125psi. When greasing the front axle for the first time make sure you start with a fresh tube of grease as ours was practically dry. We added the Safe-T-Plus and Super Steer trim unit for added driving comfort. The bracket is a 147-6.

You need to call them, very nice people. They can do a SafeTPlus on your Aspire. If you have the install done at their factory near Atlanta there is no extra charge and they road test it with you.
