I remember seeing a while back that I believe someone was going to produce a stainless macerator door to be unveiled at Homecoming. Is there any truth to this or has anyone seen where it may be available? I broke my original door within the first month of ownership and just installed the black one without painting as I could see myself breaking it again or it would just fall apart. I will never understand who thought it was a good idea to put the door in a location that it could get hit by the wet bay door.

Yes, summit products (they supply the stainless products now for ENTEGRA) planned on introducing them at homecoming. Contact kelly johnson at 515.252.0435. I ordered one too! Ill arrange delivery when this is over.

Just received a email from Kelly Johnson stating:

“I am keeping your information on file for now. We are getting closer to having available a Stainless Macerator door for the Entegra coaches including the Insignia. However our ETA at this time is not until the first of June. We have some details that still need clearing the final design. When they become available I will send you and email”.
