Staying at a Hotel in Elkhart for Service

Can someone who has stayed at the pet friendly hotel near the factory tell us if it's nice or not ? The wife is concerned about that if we have to do that when we go for our AIR in October.

Thanks.

First, it is not what I consider close, but not much choice. Second, depends on your definition of nice. I thought it was OK, some others don’t. For example, my sisters. One is accustomed to high end and would not stay there, the other is more concerned about cost and would stay there.

We stayed in the Super 8 in Shipshewana we have two yorkies. Not exactly the Ritz, but clean and doable for a few nights. Tons of things to do and see in the vicinity.

The Pet Friendly that Entegra uses is the Staybridge in Elkhart. https://www.ihg.com/staybridge/hotel...st/hoteldetail. Any Entegra owners gets the factory discount. I though it was fine, even have free wine happy hour. DW didn't care for it.
There is also a pet friendly motels in Shipshwana https://www.google.com/search?client...+in+Shipshwana

DW did not care for the wine or the hotel?

First off, staying near Middlebury has no advantages because you can’t see your coach til it’s done, so stay anywhere. As mentioned before, You really do have to say what is your version of “what’s nice”. I really haven’t stayed in any hotel in that area I would consider really “nice”! I might suggest a suite in a lesser hotel to give you space while being isolated!

Howdy!

A couple of years ago when we had some work done at infinity RV we stayed at Super 8. They gave us a discount rate through Affinity RV. You need to check around as there are a number of laces that are pet friendly but they charge per pet up to $20.00 a night for each pet.

The Hampton Inn near Entegra is now accepting pets. We are booked there next week. We’ve also heard that there is a new Home2 Suites in Elkhart that is pet friendly. That one is 14 miles away. According to my Hilton app, the Home2 Suites is cheaper than the Hampton but getting the Entegra rate makes it a toss up. We wanted to be close and have stayed in the Hampton before, so decided to give it a try. Fingers crossed. My dogs have not stayed in hotels very often so it’s going to be a few long days with lots of car rides and walks for distractions.

Stayed in Shipshewana at Der Ruhe Blatz Motel
1195 S Van Buren St, Shipshewana, IN 46565

There is a huge campground next door where I stayed before and after the shop days. I walked the dogs to their hearts content.

Don’t miss this place for lunch—
