Staying in Middlebury

Could not find the thread but we will be in Middlebury to have our slide adjusted.
Sounds like we will need a pet friendly recommendation besides Bring Fido.
TIA.

Several years ago, the only pet friendly hotel chain was in Elkhart and we stayed at the same hotel several days several times.

Here is a link that will get you some information.

https://www.irv2.com/forums/f278/pet...-238714-2.html

I have heard that there is a pet friendly hotel chain in Middlebury. Sure someone with current knowledge will come on here and fill you in.

Tom: The way to efficiently search the forum is to go to the green rectangular search box at the top of the forum. Enter ENTEGRA: and then all the search terms that you think are relevant. I entered ENTEGRA: Pet friendly hotels Middlebury and came up with a bunch of suggestions.

This is a bit off topic, but if you're interested there is a great RV museum in nearby Elkhart. Might be a good thing to visit while waiting for your rig to be fixed.

I use my iPad mostly and the search bar doesn’t work for me. I usually Google, iRV2/Entegra- xxxxx.
Usually, good results.
We will check out the Staybridge. Might have to check the museum.
We will be there on a Friday and expect they will have it repaired in a day. Hopefully...

Hampton Inn & Suites Middlebury...across the street from Entegra now accepts pets! Perhaps with so many Entegra owners needing accommodations they made the change! Very nice place to stay. ASK FOR THE ENTEGRA RATE!

Don't forget Rosie's donuts, best Amish crack in town.

That is good news about them accepting pets. The web site says no so I will confirm.
Thanks for the added suggestions and lbs!

Gary, I probably should have said; I use the iRV2 app vs. their website.
Thanks though, good reminder to try that.

We just stayed in Elkhart while coach was worked at nice Airbnb at about $40 a night. Beats staying at a hotel for $100-120 a night. If you find an Airbnb that takes pets, might be more convenient and much cheaper -- we had 2 beds, living room, full kitchen and dining with separate entrance.

That is a heck of an idea. A cheap motel in my area is $140. a night. A waterfront, pool home Airbnb is $100. a night with really nice amenities.

Thanks for the additional suggestions.
I am really hoping we don’t have to spend the weekend there. Hesitant to book anything until they look at it.

Tom

My experience is that it always takes more time that they, or we, estimate.
