The wiper issue happened to us on the first time it rained. 65 foot pounds is a lot of torque, and unless the guy that installed the wipers knew that was what was called for, they’d never bear down on it like that.

The instructions I had said wait 24 hours and re-torque. (I did, and it had slipped a bit from 65).

I had Rain-X on when it happened. Was able to keep going safely.
