Stinky Slinky Storage

Anybody out there with a 2015 Cornerstone? If so I am looking for suggestions about where to store the sewer hose for travel.

T Roy-

If your question is specifically aimed at that year and model, I can't help you.

If you want to broaden the question, this current thread asks about how folks store the sewer hose(s). My post on that thread is here. Summary: a) The design of the hose matters, and b) Once inside a plastic container, you may store the sewer hose(s) in any convenient storage bay on your RV.

The Classics did not have a convenient sewer hose location. I tried to extend the factory installed tube, but nothing work to get a quality hose that was long enough stored. The tub methods mentioned above work, but I finally purchase a Rhino hose with caps on both ends and left the hose in the wet bay. The factory installed tube I carried the extension hose, if needed.

I use the Drain Master. Stow our “everyday” section in wet bay. Extra length hose and coupler in tank compartment. Cap the ends.

Here's another option for storage. These are 5"x5" PVC fence post covers suspended across the bay under the frame. I can store two 10' sections of collapsed hose and my folding ladder. There are caps on the other end to keep things from sliding out. I have since moved the ladder storage to another bay for easier access to this small bay.

I store mine in those plastic containers designed for attic storage of clothes and stuff available at Lowes and Walmart, with a removable lid. Just make sure its height fits on the basement slide and the length and width will handle a long and short section of hose. Also reduces the smell.

I just hate to use the valuable space in a pass thru.
I just mounted the holder under the frame. Never had an issue with the ladder and whos going to steal a sewer hose.

I wound up going the easy tub route for now. If I wind up not liking this I will do something else later. Thanks for the replies. Gasket on the lid. Waterproof/smell proof. Even holds a jug of bleach and the black water flush hose. The sewer hose came with hose end plugs also.

Another option - I have three of theses stacked in the DS 1st bay - the 60 qt fits perfect and still have 10 to 12 free on top. One I use for the dump hoses and have other thing stored in the other two.

HOMZ 3470CLRDC.02 Plastic Underbed Storage, Stackable Storage Bins with Blue Latching Handles, 60 Quart, Clear, 2-Pack - they are now about $30 to $40 more now

https://www.amazon.com/Plastic-Under.../dp/B06ZZY2M92

I carry three and they all fit
1 @ 15 foot
2 @ 10 foot

A Rubber Maid or cheaper plastic tote is all you need. Don't over think or over spend it. In your travels your sewer paraphernalia does not need to be kept in any special way it will keep getting soiled, don't be anal. No pun intended.
