Storage compartment door locks sticking

We have a problem with getting the key into the locks on many of our storage compartment doors. I have consulted with a locksmith and I am using the correct lubrication. I lube them monthly, but the problem persists. Anyone else have the same problem, if so, how did you correct it?

Is the key the issue or the latch?

You lube them monthly?
That might be too much of a questionable thing.

I've never lubed ours and they all work good.

We did recently have a problem with the bolts holding the latches coming apart, but the keys still turned fine
