Strange part

A friend of mine sent me these two pictures. He has a 2017 Entegra cornerstone. He slid out the generator and found this piece of metal laying in front of the generator. It appears as if it was at one time located above the generator as he has checked the oil before and it was not there. From the picture it appears as if it was never attached anywhere as there is no scratches to the bolt holes. Any ideas? Extra part, got left here? It looks like a support/brace of some sort.

Looks to me a bracket that’s supposed to secure the generator in some way...

I agree but where? It has no marks around the bolt holes like it should have if it had just came loose

I was kinda hoping that someone would peek into generator house and see if they have the same type of configuration bracket

It's a bracket that mounts right below the wiper motor and runs back to the firewall.
