Stuck in Tallahassee

Made it from home to Tallahassee on Monday. Ready to leave on Tuesday morning, putting in the slides when the kitchen slide would not go in. Have been sitting in Tallahassee since then waiting for parts to be shipped from Indiana. What a fun way to start a trip.

Sorry to hear about your slide issue. Often times my bedroom slides won't retract using the wall switches. However, they will retract using the remote. Give it a try and see what happens. Hopefully you'll be on your way again.

What parts are they sending for the fix?

They are sending the cog drive, the bracket that holds the cog in place is welded to the chassis.

Look at the good side. Better to be stuck at home where you can have the parts shipped than in some remote BLM where you can't work on it.

Slides...love 'em/hate 'em...was looking at lightly used Prevosts the other day with just two slides. The space just looks soooooo confined for such expensive (even 5-6 year old) coaches.

Good luck on getting a quick fix; knowing what is wrong is 80% of the battle.
