Stuck slide retract procedure
If an Entegra slide fails and wont retract, is there a way to retract it manually?

Yes, find the slide motor underneath. Remove pins on both sides if motor and take it out, do the same on another slide and use that motor on place of the non working one. Easy and simple temporary fix.

Ann n Gene's solution is probably the best. I did run across this video that might be helpful: rvslideouts.blogspot.com

If you don't want to switch motors you can use two big cresent wrenches on the "box" tube after you pull the shear pins and crank it in manually.
Push one cresent up, and then use the other to grab another notch. Repeat until all the way in.
Harder, but if you're on a slope and pull a motor, you have to figure out how to keep the other slide in.
The manual way was the way the techs brought mine in on the road when I had a failure. Then I replaced the motor Entegra sent me next day freight, on level ground.

I'm not having this issue but I figured it would be worthwhile to bring up for learning purposes.

Mine was on the drivers side forward slide. In addition, if for some reason one of the rear slides is sticking a little and you need more power, you can switch 15 amp for 5 amp fuses for a one time try to get the slide unstuck. These fuses are in the forward most door on driver's side.
IMHO, though, I'd let the Entegra CS guys and gals help you through doing this.
Last, not a bad idea to pick up a couple of extra shear pins as they do break. A bolt can be substituted, but my one experience, the bolt sheared quickly as well.

Dave
If you picked up some extra shear pins how about a picture or part number so I can look for some to carry a spare?
