Stumped....

Suddenly ran out of water....no flow at all...discovered of course, when flushing the commode...worst of all possible adventures!

Started trouble shooting....turned on water pump and got water......ok! Flushed the toilet and started tracing.

Went to the campground's spigot, and had good flow.

Checked the FILL valve and it was in the correct position.

Hmmmm.......ok...

Checked flow through the sediment filter.....good flow!

Checked all the drain valves to se if one somehow was cracked open....all ok.

Checked flow through the softener.....good flow again.....still no flow through to the tap in kitchen.

Checked flow through the hose reel.....got nothing....hmmmmmmm.......

I run all my water through one of those blue carbon filters just before it goes into the fresh water port....could it be the filter? I just changed it two weeks ago....

Checked flow through the carbon filter.....NO FLOW!!!

Replaced the carbon filter and now everything is working fine.....DW is now happy so I'm #%*+ happy too!!!!!!!

Sigh........

You've had some challenges - glad you have solved them all. Now go to Nolan's in Gulf Shores for dinner or Grazie's in Orange Beach. Both will make you forget any troubles!

If you think TX was bad for water, wait until you get to AZ or NM. Three days in AZ and I bought a water softener immediately. The chunks that came out of a freshly flushed hot water heater were unreal. Glad you have a pre-filter in line, it did it's job.

Not all of AZ has bad water. We spend part of each winter in a park that has it's own wells and the water is better than you can buy in a bottle. Friends in that town have their own well and the water is better than town water.

Maybe it's the Cities that add all of the calcium and alkaline to their water. We like to never got the hard water spots off the shower glass.

Not all well water if good either....my irrigation well is 600 PPM of dissolved minerals. Many house on the north end if town, that is their water supply. If the water is bad, it will plug up filters.

Also as just a reminder to everyone. Always open the spigot and let the water run a little before hooking up. You don't know when the last time that spigot was used. We got to a site here in Minnesota and opened the spigot. It was all rust water for about 10 seconds. Don't want that in your filter.
