Locking fuel caps could cost you a lot of money on repairs. All the fuel thief has to do is reach into the wheel well and cut the filler hose. It might even make it easier to steal fuel than going thru the filler. Probably cheaper and less hassle to just let them have the fuel than to lock the fillers.

Much easier for a thief to find another vehicle to steal from.

I have locking fuel caps that cost about $6 each.

My biggest disappointment, by far, is the furniture is very uncomfortable. The foam is uneven and on the dinnette it slopes toward the table. We have had this problem on two Entegras with both Flexsteel and Villa furniture. We had the factory take it out and restuff it, it was better but still not good.

I think having 2 work camping Entegra owners on site that get a free spot and maybe $10 an hour to go through every coach before it heads out, its a concept no one does, but owners know what to look at and read the forums. The $10 an hour is a lot less than having to pay a dealer to fix things that go un noticed by builders, but not owners that use the product. Heck, I bet they would have volunteers do it for nothing for spot just to keep busy, and pride of ownership. The liability insurance for tat is nothing for them to add to their current workmans comp

Here's some things I'd like to see, some have been said before....
1. air leveling option
2. Comfort Drive or clone
3. Better supporting driver/pass seats
4. Alternative to Girard Awning
5. Ladder option
6. Bigger electric Aqua Hot heating element
7. Motorized or crank out generator tray
8. Computer desk/tray option
9. Improved photos of color schemes and interiors on website

A Lot of good ideas, a lot of "it will never happen ideas" but I will make one suggestion:

It should be mandatory the owners, Engineers and designers of these great machines would have to actually take their families out in one for a week or a few weekends during the summer. Then I would like to hear what they think and see how quickly they could change the design based on their own experience! Just a thought.

Put another light switch on the kitchen side with the same light controls as the one next to the fireplace in the RBQ. I need a long arm and a pencil or what ever I can find to turn on the lights over the sink when the slides are in or add the light buttons to the switch by the front door would work too.

A lot of people suggesting better QA. Sounds to me (as a potential Entegra buyer not troll) that Jayco haven't quite made the transition from mass-production lower end to relatively small production high-end products? Also, is an Entegra 'Villa' sofa not the same as a Newmar Villa sofa? Not heard any complaints from Newmar owners, or are they just keeping quiet? Finally, on the windows point, is there any logic to having more glass on the drivers side rather than passenger? Makes you wonder of anyone at any manufacturer (apart from Newell/Prevost builders) has actually thought about it or is just doing it how they always have done.

Corey, I'm used to Buffalo winters. For us Middlebury is going South for the winter!

The idea of owners going through a coach before delivery is a great idea.....but what it doesn't allow for is the connections that are vibrated apart from the trip from Middlebury to Orlando or Albany or Dallas or wherever. Something like that at the dealer level may be the best possible idea. But that is assuming the dealer can and will correct the problem.

Just my opinion as a long time Travel Supreme owner and short time Entegra owner... only using my short use and delivery experience.

Final inspections are nowhere near what Travel Supreme was by any means. In my opinion that game needs to be stepped up more than anything at Entegra. Thank God CS service makes up for it, but Joyce should be able to have more time off.

We found the furniture every bit as comfortable as that in our TS maybe even more, but don't know about the drivers seat yet.

The window placement is the same as the TS except for the porthole TS called a window over the kitchen sink. DW likes the full tile wall better. I would like to see the windows full slides like TS used to be able to get more ventilation. The small crank-outs on the current windows are not of much use. Windows are placed at the seating areas. If the seating area is on the divers side, that is where the windows are placed, it all has to do with floor plan.

Don' take my delivery as that of all Entegra's. Mine I feel was one in a thousand. A bad break for me that mine went down the assembly line and paint shop when it was 30 below zero. I have visited other owners of Entegras.... they are beautiful coaches and everything works as it should.

Let the list continue I have seen some excellent ideas.

QC is an industry issue. The industry continues to rely on the customer to shake down the coach. Entegra issues are no more or less (perhaps less than some, but don't want to go there). It is a well built coach.

Villa does do some proprietary furniture for some brands (Winnebago), but I'm not aware of differences at like price points. Maybe we whine more

As far as glass goes, generally, there seems to be more glass on the side opposite the kitchen on most coaches/manufacturers, and most floor plans have the kitchen on the passenger side (which seems the wrong side). My understanding is that the kitchen placement on the drivers side is popular with some other brands.

Lots of good ideas here. It seems like QC and floorplans are the most consistent ideas. On our SL, it would seem simple to flip the slides so that the kitchen and the single window were on the driver side and then we'd have the view on the "patio" side. That's probably true for other plans as well although since our fridge isn't on a slide, it would be even simpler than some plans.

A sliding door to the toilet room would make for a lot less congestion.
