That is something that most motorhome owners would like. That's a chassis issue so I mentioned that to Spartan. The problem is that their cooling package is so large that there really isn't any room to put a DEF tank on the driver's side. The DEF tank has limits as to how far away it can be from the dosing valve, which further complicates things.
In an ideal world the DEF tank would be on the driver's side but up front by the fuel fills. Trucks are that way and truck stop pumps are designed to service them. Even if the DEF tank was at the rear driver's side you would still have to wait for the trucker ahead of you to leave so that you could stick the coach's nose out far enough to reach the DEF filler.
My idea (although I'm not an engineer) would be to place the DEF filler up front on the driver side and go into a primary tank. Then, a lift pump would pump it to a secondary tank with float valve at the passenger side rear of the coach to be metered into the dosing valve. Granted, it's an extra step but it would be convenient for a motorhome owner trying to fit into the trucking environment.
