Suggestions TO Entegra Coach - From Current Owners & Potential Buyers
If you knew Entegra Coach would read this posting, what suggestions would you offer? I would like to suggest:
1. More Cornerstone floor plans
2. Option for TRW's Column Drive (AKA Comfort Drive by Newmar)
3. Option for shower enclosure "rain glass"

More floor plans that are conducive to traveling with and sleeping more than two people. Other than the 44SL none of the floor plans seem to accommodate sleeping for more than two. A bath and half that sleeps four or more would be fantastic.

I suggest my family of six sleeps well in our 44U.

For us it would be.
1. A little more room beside the bed. Making it easier to make the bed.
2. A little more room on the wall side of the freestanding table. We are not all 110#.
3. Factory delivery, the selling dealer can still do later warranty issues.
4. If we can't pick up our new coach at the factory, at least have the delivery drivers fill out a report on any issues they found during the delivery trip.
5. A locking fuel door would be nice.
6. A little better quality control would be wonderful.

A complete over night hook up and run through of all items at factory prior to delivering to dealer. I can promise mine did not have that. Also, the drivers bringing the coach to selling dealer should have (if they don't) a very good system that identifies any items discovered during the trip from factory to selling dealer. Factory response to issues have been excellent but almost all of my issues could've been found in a complete hook up and run through prior to leaving factory.

It is inconceivable to me that they do not do that. Keep in mind that what works at the factory may no longer work after the coach has been driven 1000 miles or more to the point of delivery.

My List:
1. Agree about more space beside bed to get your hands there. It's a constant gripe.
2. Cross ventilation in bedroom of 44SL. Currently 44SL has only one small bedroom window that opens.
3. Add power generator slide option on Anthem.
4. Add air leveling option on Anthem.
5. Column Drive aka Comfort Steer.
6. Make rear ladder standard. Look at all the posts here about ladders. Aspire owners don't have this problem, why should the rest of us have it?
7. More floorplans.

Curt, we had a chance to buy a one year old Cornerstone that had been modified similar to your 44U. The owner had taken out the booth dinette and repalced it with one long couch the entire length of the driver's side. The couch opened up into two queens and had a table similar to yours on the 44U but on the driver's side rather than the passenger side. We actually had a deposit down on it when we started thinking about how we travel and with whom we travel. Our issue would be that we use the dinette a lot and we all are not fond of sitting sideways and looking out the front while traveling. When I looked at the 44U it seemed like if there were two adults sleeping on that couch they would have to be very good friends, if not before then certainly after. When my twins were small this setup would have been fine but at 17 they require more space and when we travel with another couple, it requires more sleeping room.
It comes back down to the few months that Entegra had available the units with a booth dinette and a full queen hide-a-bed next to it. Newmar has exactly that setup so I don't understand Entegra's issues that would not allow them to sell the same set up. In fact Newmar has it available in at least four of their different levels of motor homes.

I was told it was sold immediately after I turned it down. I'll check and see if it is still available, but I'm reasonably sure it's gone. It was a gorgeous coach.
