Summerfest

I haven't heard much about Summerfest lately, just wondering about schedules and activities. Also wondering about number or coaches that have signed up.

I don't claim to speak for Tom, but last I heard there were more than 35 coaches signed up. He recently posted highlights in the thread at the top of the forum on Summerfest. Sounds like a grand time.

I know you can'tmake everybody happy but one of the reasons I can't go to Summerfest (I'm still working) is it's difficult from where I live on the East Coast(FL) to travel all the way across the country, and all the way back to attend such an event. While I'm not suggesting Summerfest should be located near me I think the next one would be better attended somewhere in between the two coasts. When it was first being researched I suggested something near Middlebury. I think last year's Summerfest in Michigan proved that theory. I think wine country is a nice area but it does happen to be on that other coast. Think about it for next year. Maybe Middlebury, maybe Texas, maybe southern Canada.

Dave,

Summerfest is put on by Tom and Regina on there own. It was held in Michigan this last August affording many easterners the opportunity to attend. Many of those folks aren't able to make Paso Robles this Summer, as they have appointments scheduled in Middlebury or it is just too far for vacations for less than full timers. I don't speak for Tom, but I think he wanted to give the Western folks an opportunity to participate that couldn't make Michigan last year. I don't know where he plans to go next year, but he has indicated he will lead these get togethers often ... which is a heck of a deal, because it is a lot of work. This one does offer the opportunity for Entegra to interface with owners in a way that they do at Tampa for the folks East, but it is not "sponsored" by Entegra.

That said, look at the ECOA event that Pat is putting together in Branson in May. Missouri is beautiful then and that ought to be a fun time in a great place.

JMHO, it works for us because I had to be in Redmond OR representing ECOA at the FMCA Family Reunion. It also helped that that's where DW's bucket list has many of its locations

Check your email. We sent out the formal list of excursions just a few hours ago to those who have registered. If you didn't get it, please let us know at EntegraSummerfest@yahoo.com .

When we first pitched the idea of Summerfest to Entegra - just asking for them to do a dinner - they said they would go anywhere we decide to go. I suggested somewhere in Alabama so we could do a 60 coach parade down main street Red Bay. Lol

Too many converts say they didn't want to go back to Red Bay...might have attendance issues.
