When I replaced one of my big slide motors Entegra stated the stronger one is the 300. And on the classics models they put 300s on all 4 slides.

Later...

Fast question to the audience:
Is there any difference if we stop the slide short from dropping down?

How do we access the rollers?

No harm in stopping short of full extension.
If you extend a slide half way, you can inspect/clean your upper slide out seals.
And access all your rollers. They are easily seen/inspected when laying on the floor. On our 44b, the rollers for bed and vanity slides are visible with the slides in any position.
Best to always have your slides fully extended when camping. Otherwise, you run the risk of insects and weather intrusion.
Hope that helps.

Hi Mike, probably won't hurt the slide but if it is a Lippert Schwintek you risk the possibility that more than likely the motors are going to get out of sync without amping the motors out when opening and closing the slides. This is why you are supposed to hold the switch down 3-5 seconds both opening and closing the slides to amp out the motor to keep them in sync. Good luck, hope this helps some.

In the Entegra Class A diesel line the only models that have the Schwintek are the Reatta and the Reatta XL (and not on every slide in those lines either) so stopping/starting mid cycle and holding the button for a period of time do not apply to the Aspire/Anthem/Cornerstone.

Dr. Mike, you can stop the slide and reverse the slides at any point in the cycle for all slides in your model.

In my model I can do that on 2 of the 3 as the bed slide is the above mentioned Schwintek and proper operation is detailed above.
