Super slide motor
I have a 2019 Anthem W and the super slide on occassion hesitates some when retracting. There are no loose bolts as I have checked. There was a slight amount of pink liquid seeping from the seal on the motor today however it retracted perfectly this morning. I am thinking of ordering a replacement motor in case it goes out. Can I get on from Entegra and how hard is it to change? Thanks in advance.

Contact Nirvc parts for a replacement motor. Remove the pins, slide the linkages over, remove the motor, line up new one and install.

As posted before, the slide motors are proprietary to Entegra, there is no other source. I tried to order direct from the manufacturer and they would not sell to me or a dealer. Order directly from Entegra. Ordering from a dealership just adds a middleman. Don't die of sticker shock. Good luck.

Replaced about 2 months ago on the Super Slide and got it from Entegra for ~ $539. About 20-25 min to remove and install.

The pink fluid is grease from the gearcase. As the grease is exposed to heat over time a bit will liquify. I just had some drip onto pone of my basement freezers recently. I found that the bolts were slightly loose so I tightened them up and the leak was gone.
On our 45A the super slide has always moved quite slow when it first starts to lift the slide. Once it gets up on the ramp it eases up a bit and runs more smoothly. But that slide is quite heavy with the loaded fridge, quartz dinette and lots of cookwear - including some cast iron. It hasn't failed nor has the speed changed in 7 years.
The only time I've ever seen it actually hesitate is when My finger lifts off the button on the Firefly switch panel for an instant. But that's because the relay temporarily opens until I press the button again.

We’ve learned that using the APP allows us to stand by the slide when moving it to witness the extension or retraction and stop it appropriately without over extending the motor by holding the button too long. We’ve also learned to carry extra fuses and relay boards. But since we replaced the super slide motor, no issues. But before …. we had regular problems. And that makes for some very tense moments.

I replaced on my 2017 last year. The motor I got had been dropped (probably in shipping) and two of the 4 bolt holes were slightly damaged. The mobile tech had a die to fix the two holes.
Plus, if I remember correctly, he had me bring in the slide just a little bit. I think the issue there may be getting the gears to align correctly.

For those who have changed the slide motor themselves, did you cut the wires on the old one and utilize wire nuts to connect the replacement?

Mine was connected with wire nuts OEM so no brainer. Toughest part on my exchange was getting the cotter pins out and in.
