Surround Sound speakers

My Bose center speaker under main tv works fine but I get nothing out of wall mounted mini surround speaker. Anyone know the story on these? The main speaker is connected via optical cable. Don’t know about other speakers. Thanks

Bill, I believe they are wireless speakers so they possibly lost their pairing to the sound bar. Should be a way to pair them. Do you have your manual to assist?

My 18 Anthem had the same issue. After trying the link that you were provided, I called Bose directly. They solved the issue in a few minutes. Sorry, I don't recall what they had me do

The 19's came with the surround sound not synced. In the bag of books there is a set of headphone and the instructions to sync the speakers. Drove me nuts that mine didn't work either until TXBart posted what to look for on the new models

You can also sync them from Bose website and downloading a phone app. The system is the model 700.
BTW, the 21's are not synced either.

Hi Bill,

It's no guarantee, but, the subwoofer on my '18 Anthem 42DEQ is in the storage compartment directly under the dining table.

Some have removed theirs, with little degradation of audio quality (their assessment), in order to free up storage space.

I've read of others who have moved it to the empty space under the TV behind the fireplace.

Take care,
Stu

I think you will definitely find the woofer in the center compartment directly under the table in the "B" floor plan. That is its location on my Cornerstone. It takes up the entire center bottom console along with some support steel trusses for the dinette table. Some models, I think, even reportedly have their woofer under the bed (which seems like a really dumb place if that is true).

My surround speakers on my 19 Cornerstone were not synced and apparently that is nothing that the factory or the delivery dealer feels is their job to sync.

Our rear speakers, Anthem 19, W, weren't plugged in behind the coach. Plugged in they synced. Our subwoofer was under the bed, silly/stupid location. We have bench dinette, I cut part of a metal support, still more there, and placed underneath. Better sound in the same room except your butt does get some buzz from time to time.

Pretty much the same with my Anthem (W) I moved the SW to between the theater seats. Whom ever thought to put the SW under the bed was not the sharpest tool in the shed

It is on my 44W and you're correct! It is dumb. I'm looking for a new place for it. For now, we leave it disconnected or move it to the floor behind the driver's seat when we think we need deep bass.

I know that some have simply removed it and report adequate sound from the soundbar and the rear channel speakers.

What would happen if you placed it in the basement?

I looked at placing it behind the theater seating and it didn't look like I could get it to fit. Placing it in the storage space between the theater seats is not acceptable to my DW.

Take care,
Stu
