I just got a response from Katarína @ sygic support! I am sending her some pictures showing the wackiness on the Route arrival time, etc on the dash GPS. With luck, they may be able to fix it??!! Let's see how it goes...

Why don't they just send you an email back saying the got the information and going to send it to programing to check out. At least that way you would think they give a dam.

Somewhat on the same subject, I have notice when I get a survey they seem to know I was happy with the service. On places that I am waiting for the survey to let them know how bad they are, I don't get a survey.

Amazing how that happens! I've seen the same thing more often than not.

Well, Katerina responded to my Support inquiry. Ask if I have purchased a "Caravan" License. So, I explained "no" and included Valid and Entegra on the email.

No fix yet.

I downloaded the Sygic app to my Iphone a while back. It gave me an option to do a few day free trial of the Caravan license and the premium package.

Unfortunately did not have enough time with the demo period to really test it out. It did have voice instructions but I was not able to really check the lane selection guidance etc during the short free demo license period, or how good the routing worked.

They keep sending me offers to upgrade on my phone to premium. Not sure I want to pay for something on my phone when really need it on board the RV.

So Sygic says they can't help me without a License. No response from Valid. According to Entegra, there is supposed to be an update for the Console coming out. Until then..

I went ahead and blew $25 on Sygic Maps and Truck / Caravan. Also tried to figure out how to map out a route and load to phone / Console. SO FAR, nothing works. You can add some Points of Interest to your phone ONLY if you know the GPS coordinates.

I have to say, I am about done with this. Just going to display my phone (and Google Maps) on the overhead TV and ignore the GPS in the dash.

Jeff, sure sorry to hear that. It is a shame to have a new coach with no support for the items installed. Valid did the same thing with the TPMS, now the GPS which is much worse. Like you, Waze mirrored on the overhead TV is now my main navigation.

Well, after much communication between Sygic and I, I just give up. You can go from point A to point B, without any frills, no voice navigation, no stops ahead. Can't see the buttons or press them if you could. 1 of 5 star rating.

I told them thanks for nothing, they will be receiving my reviews online.

I purchased a Garmin 795RV, MUCH better navigation, routing experience. Sat down in my easy chair, planned my route, stuck it to the Toll Window within easy reach. Tucson to Temecula, routing, stops (Voice guidance) and LANE Selection, all good.

Also let Valid (CCI vendor for Entegra) know.

What an absolute shame to put a foreign GPS with no support in such an expensive MH. It was bad enough when they were still installing Rand McNally (I got one of those) when they were Bankrupt and going though a court ordered sale, and those are no longer supported.
Great selling point for Garman and another push for Android Auto and Apple Car Play. Sure sorry to hear of your experience.

If it's any consolation (probably not), my Brand new Can Am Spyder (2019 model top of the line) info bragged a lot about Sygic, and at that point in time I had not bought a GPS for the motorcycle. So I thought, what the heck, might as well try it. Turned out that all those hours I spent trying to make it work (unsuccessfully of course), was time that I will never get back. IMHO....it is total junk compared to a real GPS....something like a good Garmin unit.

Then, most recently, I bought a new motorcycle with the Sygic app available to display on the dash. I started laughing, with thoughts of my previous experience. The forum that I belong to that focuses on that motorcycle had a bunch of negative comments about Sygic and how useless it was. Most folks finally gave up on it there also, and just purchased a Garmin Zumo XT which is kind of motorcycle specific. Looks like Sygic is happy to just bump along at the bottom of the GPS business. I didn't even waste my time with trying it this time.

Jeff - Sorry about the challenges and outcome. You worked this harder than I would.

The GPS in my 17 was terrible. I thought the 22 was better. It is not really much better.

I know opinions on this are different but at this point I am done with the built in GPS system in Entegra coaches.

We are just using Google and Waze from our phones. I verify the route if not on main highways using RV Life trip wizzard in advance of travel but my primary route plan is Google / Waze.

Too many ridiculous recommendations and plans from my coach GPS units. They provide no value for me. Not only is the data input and search function terrible but after you get through that the route is often terrible.

What we really want is Apple Car Play in the coach. If I did not use the GPS screen in our coach for other things I would velcro an IPAD right over that screen for navigation…

Without a doubt on the Android Auto and Car Play that make more sense than a Hungarian GPS.

I have been doing the same thing on the 21. The Rand McNally has been wrong way too many times. With my phone I now mirror Waze on the overhead TV, which has been great. Nice big screen, easy to control the volume and right more than the dash GPS. I upgraded phones to a Samsung Galaxy which has the one button to mirror Waze to the TV. It has been a great setup and very pleased with it.
I haven't tried a google trip planned yet, but I will on the next trip.
