I echo Rollin101's statement. To answer your question, "If I want to backup a curvy hill...", you may want to consider "Hold" depending on the hill. Attached is an old picture of our driveway. The incline of that apron backing into the driveway is steeper than it looks in the picture, especially on the closest side. I always fully raise the suspension when backing in and pulling out, and place the tag in "Hold" when backing in to minimize the amount of flap drag when the tag meets the incline. I learned that from experience by how the flap on our previous Phaeton (which didn't have a tag) looked after a year of backing in.
