Tag axle alignment?

Have my coach into an authorized spartan service center and thought I would have alignment checked while there. Came back that all looked good except the tag axle was out of alignment by over 1/4". Anyone ever hear of this? I would have thought that would be the last item that would have an alignment issue?

I read a thread on another coach forum where the tag was out of alignment and basically scrubbing as the coach was going down the road. They were replacing tires on the tag at 8k miles as I remember. All axle alignment is a good idea. Just did mine at Spartan at Charlotte and found some mis-alignment of the rear and tag compared to the front. So it does happen.

This is a long read but really gets into your issue at the end. Being new to tag axes there was a lot of good information for me. http://www.irv2.com/forums/f278/stee...ay-182810.html

I can believe it. I need to get mine checked because at 33k mikes the inside tread of both tires was badly cupped. I switched them out for new tires. Since there's no Spartan facility anywhere close I'll have to take it to a truck center.

My coach was pulling a bit so I had mine aligned and its so much better. I looked at my report and the tag was ok but my steer rear thrust were off.

"Steer rear thrust"? Is that on a Angus or a Longhorn? Seriously, what is that?
