The way to really get what you want is to buy the parts that Monaco had on your old RV and have that installed on your new one.

I think you can Dump the tag air when making very Sharp turns (like in a campground) as well and it will reduce tire wear on the tag axle as well.

Some truckers that have dedicated Flatbed trailers (with the wide spread axles) have installed dual axle dump valves so they can dump either axle for better maneuverability as the situation requires.

The Spartan chassis comes with a manually-operated dumps switch for the tag air. In addition, it automatically dumps tag air when in reverse.
