Tank Letter Received From Entegra

I Just received the letter that FireFly's tank sensor are being replaced by SeaLevel sensor that worked.
It looks like the TrueTank sensor worked as well as the SaniMarin toilets.

Got mine a few days ago and as luck would have it, we are scheduled for service in Middlebury in 2 weeks. I’m hoping the replacement sensors are in stock. Now if only we could get the tpms sensors replaced with something that works.

I'll be right behind you Tim. I arrive on 8/22. You are fortune that you missed strike three with the SanMarin toilet. If they "fix" that Valor TPM, that would be amazing. I am not holding my breath on mine.

That might also explain why they have not rushed the 1.5.6 update to fix the tank monitor and the alarm. They will need another update when the tank monitors are changed.

I checked with my service advisor about this. She told me they don't have the parts yet. I am hoping the have them when I have my AIR done in late August

Chuck, We just took delivery of our 2022 Coach House Platinum earlier this month. The CH also comes with a FireFly panel. CH chose to install a separate SeaLevel II monitor panel (Fresh water, Black, Grey, Propane) rather than connect the SeaLevel sensors to the FireFly panel since, according to CH, the two did not interface well. Hopefully, FF was able to improve the interface for Entegra

I got the same letter about the tank monitors. I am headed to Entegra in November. I reached out and made sure this work could be done during that visit. All good.

It is strange how the current system every got implemented and into production. Mine have not worked properly since the day we got the coach. I am glad to be moving back to the sea level system. The current system is flawed to say the least,

Hi - We are headed to warranty repairs on August 1 and will be there for an extended time. Hopefully they can put the Sea Level in to fix our issues with the current system (system is too kind a word). We had Sea Level on previous coaches and they were excellent. Looking forward to no longer running outside to visually check the fresh water level and using the "ankle test" in the shower for the grey tank level. Amazingly the black almost always works!
Anyway, it's good news.

Alec, Congratulation on the new coach. My 19 had the SeaLevel sensors with the new wifi Vega Touch, they worked great together. The 21 came with Firefly's TrueTank sensors that have not worked since day one, even after changing a set of sensors.

While checking battery settings the other day, I saw the selection for Truetank or SeaLevel sensors buried in the menu. Hope the new SeaLevels will work together as well as the 19 did.

On our 21 we have the same sensor method as the 02 Travel Supreme. Sight, sound and smell sensors. If the water won't drain or backs up in the shower, time to drain the gray tank. If it smells in the bathroom, time to drain the black tank. If the water sputters or the pump won't pump, the fresh water tank needs to be filled. It only took 20 years to come full circle. The 14 and 19 Entegras the sensors worked prefect. The 21 came full circle of the Travel Supreme.

My 17 Insignia (non Vega Touch) with Sea Level is inaccurate below 72% for both grey and black. Replace sensors 2 x and same results. Cant find someone to perform tank cleaning because of the Macerator even though I explained you can use the 3.

Ive given up and going with the sight, sound n smell method as well.

So they don't solve radiators with a factory recall, and they don't solve DEF head problems with an open ended recall of all DEF Heads, but they can solve tank level sensors with a recall? Makes sense.....

Hopefully since your 19 has the Vega Touch working with the SeaLevel sensors, it's not going to be a problem going back to what worked. If they would have done the same thing with the radiators that worked and the DEF heads that worked before, there never would have been a problem. While we're at it, throw in the SanMarin toilets too.
Cutting corners to cut cost is sometime more expensive in the long run. This is one perfect example with the tank sensors.
