Tecma toilet not holding refill water

The Tecma toilet is functioning normally except the refill water seems to be running through and not staying in the bowl. We're having to add flushing water from a pitcher. I called Thetford and the tech said the discharge hose could have slipped but upon inspection it appears not to have moved. Anyone experience a similar situation and the cure was?

We’ve had the same problem before. Something like TP could be hung up inside the mechanism. We give it a couple of full flushes and it clears up the problem. You could also try resetting the water level height.

Put a splash of vegetable oil in the bowl or lube the seals with silicone grease or even vaseline

Our 2019 would not keep the water at the programmed level. The discharge hose behind the toilet was too low, allowing the water to siphon down to the level of the hose. There was an additional problem in that occasionally it would allow gas from the holding tank to bubble up. I just returned from the factory where they adjusted the hose and it is holding water. Not sure if that is the same problem you are having.

Does it hold the water when you add it from a pitcher or does it always leak down?

Macerator pump discharge hose height is what allows water to stay in bowl
Loop at top too low and water will siphon out of bowl

As others have said, clean and lube the seal, there are some good videos on YouTube, I think one of them is Tecma.
The seal is 5 years old and may be worn.

This is a Macerator Toilet.
Bowl contents feed directly into pumo suction.
No seals/ball valves etc like a gravity toilet

Ours would not refill either. Main water filter was clogged cutting down on the whole coach water pressure. Changed filter. All is good

It sounds like it is just not filling completely, then. Try resetting the water level on the control panel. The low water pressure due to a clogged filter also sounds like a possibility.
