That's a good one, I will copy this one immediately.

We've had our new coach 1 day and are already doing mods. First is to switch out the king bed in the coach with the queen in our house. It's so much easier to make up a queen bed in the coach.

But, that left us with about 5" of platform on the sides. It's wood with a plastic edge strip that is about 1/8" higher than the platform and could be a shin killer. We has some carpet from Home Depot (the kind that comes off a roll in the store) that we'd never used and is exactly the right color.

We cut a 5" strip of the carpet and butted it right up to the edge strip and stapled it to the platform. Then a strip that overlapped it about an inch on the inside and wide enough to wrap around and staple underneath.

No more sharp hard edges. Plus, the platform is a perfect spot for my iPhone at night.

New TV Bracket. After receiving a new TV from customer service because of a little defect, I decided to install a new bracket. I didn't put a lot of time and effort into it. It actually mounted up to the three bolt holes that are already there from the OEM bracket. It's not a perfect fit. It sticks out a little bit farther then the original, so when you close the overhead door it kind of pushes against it very slightly and because I decided not to drill three new holes but rather use the existing mounting holes that were there, it's off-center by about an inch. So far we like it. We figured would give it try, easy enough to go back to the original bracket or switch yo something new down the road. Sweet! I think you need to post what bracket you used!

Very nice! I'd like to know the brand of the bracket as well, especially since it appears to fit the existing screw holes so well.

Terrific - where did you find the pan?

See the photo below - I had these made by Summit Stainless (they're on the way and will be installed this week).

There are 2 trays/shelves (made from diamond plate and not yet bolted together) to be mounted above the two basement slideouts. In the background are pieces that will go together to make a "box" to fit in the MORE/ryde slideouts (much like Dusty56 - post 712).

I will have photos of the installations by the end of next week.

The good news is that if you like them, call Summit at (515) 252-0435.

Their engineering team measured my coach when I was there the end of June and will be selling these shortly. They fit perfectly in the two full bays under by Anthem 44B. And yes Albert accounted for the height of the floor vac in the basement.

Got it at Autozone.
If you don't have an Autozone, do a Google search on 11430 Blitz.

Removed factory shelf and found alot of room for a R.O. sys, booster pump and a new shelf for two shipping containers now holding cleaning supplies and motorcycle gear.

Craig

Awesome work! I did a similar setup in my 14 Anthem44B and we enjoy the a Reverse Osmosis setup. I hadn't thought of discarding the factory divider setup.

where to put keys

While we were in Shipshewana IN. earlier this year Corey came by and visited us and checked out the new ride. One of the first things he noticed was where I keep my keys. I didn't think anything about it but he did say you need to post it because it qualifies as a mod!

Well consider it posted. I keep my keys on the passenger entrance. Easy to reach around without going into the coach to get that key that we always seem to forget. I just use the screw in hooks you can get anywhere. It works out great.

I know that others have completed this mod in different ways - that is, sides for the slide out trays. I did this mod today, using prefinished shelves from Home Depot and a few nuts and bolts. Total cost, about $25. The shelf width was perfect and I only had to trim the length of each shelf.
