Ladder rack installation....attached to basement bridging.
Uses 4 6"x6" angle irons, 1 board cut to 4"x8', 4 carriage bolts 5/16"x2" with nuts and flat washers, and 4 self-tapping screws.
Cut the angle irons so that one leg is only 4" and align the holes on the 4" sides per the attached picture. Measure the distance between the uprights on your cross bridging to determine spacing of the angle iron supports. Mark and drill 5/16" holes through the board and assemble the rack. Clamp in place on your bridging and drill in your self-tapping screws.
Note: I did bend the one on the passenger side a bit so I had clearance to get the ladder past the door.
Good luck!

I see where the carriage bolts with wingnuts were used and some type of bolt used to attach the board and angle irons together. but where did you use the self-tapping screws?

Last year when we ordered our Cornerstone the biggest problem I had was the fact that Entegra did not offer a real desk option, only a credenza thing with a pop-up TV which to me was worthless. I'm a desk/recliner kind of guy and have totally no use for two sofa's in a motor coach. So, with that in mind, this is what I did with the 60" sofa space on the curb side. Just installed the granite top yesterday and still have a little fine tuning to do, but this gives you an idea...

The pictures show the basic construction of the J-bolt/angle iron hangers. Two hanger assemblies are required per shelf. Then there's a couple of pictures of the hanger assemblies in place. One of these is a picture of two hanger assemblies in place in the foreground and a shelf with a lounge chair on it in the background.

Shelf was 21"x40"
Ladder rack was screwed into the bridging in the Aspire basement.

Very nice! Did you do all the work yourself? I take it there is no issue with the slide floor not being flush with the tile on that side? Did you make the door or order it from Entegra or ?. The finish on the face frames looks like a perfect match, can you share how you accomplished that? Thanks!
