Open your dropbox account through a browser.
Find the picture you want to share
Open the picture
Click the "link" icon in the lower right corner
Copy the link provided into your irv2 post (like you see below)
The post will not show the picture, only the link to it.

Here's the photo of our coach leaving Pelican Lake...

This is a solution to the picture limit problem, but not a very good one....

Chuck, the picture shows.

I'm working on a more elegant solution. Turns out I have more time this afternoon than I expected.

Robert, thank you. I have tried and tried. I can post the link but also all of the photos in my album are also available by clicking on the arrows at the bottom of the photo. Your photo is all by itself, mine are not. I am just about done with this.

I've got a way better solution...this way you see the actual picture, not the link.

1) Open up dropbox on your browser
2) Go to Public-Uploads
3) Drag and drop any pictures there
4) Highlight a picture you wish to share
5) Click on "Copy public link" in the menu bar above the list of files/photos
6) On the next screen "copy to clipboard.
7) Go to your posting on irv2
8) Click on the icon for "insert image"
9) Paste what you copied from dropbox.
10) You are done!
11) I have not figured how to rotate a picture if it is out of alignment.

See example, the same picture I posted earlier...

Chuck, I only see the one picture, no arrows. Maybe it shows differently when the reader is not the user actually logged on to Dropbox.

I think I may have figured it out. If your Dropbox was loaded prior to 2013 the "public share" feature is available.. I put a new computer online Jan 1 and with it downloaded the new Dropbox. Now that feature is only available in a paid version.

Yep, that requires the paid version of the program to have "public link" I have been on that all afternoon and found out the program changed in 2013. That took a few hours to find why mine wouldn't work that way.

It looks like I am the only one that doesn't charge to share photos

So far all I can get are links to photos. I may do one last photo post for the TV mount, but it will probably be photo links and that's it. I may not be putting much more time into this. I have tried, but I can work on a MH a heck of a lot easier than trying to do photo posts with what I enjoy using.

I am get to old to learn how to play the piano in Spanish.

Chuck,
You can have all your photos also automatically sent to Google storage as you take them (just like you do with dropbox). To be honest, I didn't know this was happenening, but Google has just about every picture I've ever taken with any of my Android phones.

To see if the same happened to you, go to https://plus.google.com/u/0/photos

If so, find any picture that you want posted to irv2. Right click on it to copy an image URL. Then follow the process that I described yesterday to embedd an image (not a URL) into an irv2 post.

Here's the same picture that I pulled in from Dropbox yesterday, but this came from Google.

As a note to iPhone users, I don't have one, so I don't know how to get your photos up to Google, but I'm sure that there's an "Apple way" to do the same.
