I recall measuring both the 45B's pantry and the 42DEQ's hutch and vaguely recall it working out to about the same storage, depending on shelf arrangement (I don't think I have my measurements with me or I'd post them).

I'd love to see some pics of the inside if anybody on the forum spots one of these mythical beasts.

Hey Dave, are you going to Las Vegas for Octoberfest? That's where mythical stuff usually happens! It just might be there!

45X?

It will be called the 45Y and will only be available in the Cornerstone, at least initially. A couple of key changes to note and they were taken directly from owners input. One change is the fireplace has a TV lift, so that a large window can be added behind it. There are now 3 large windows in the living area for plenty of natural light! Another change is the availability of at least 3 sofa configurations perhaps 4. Those configurations are: the L-shaped sofa, the 100” sofa with hide-a-bed, a recliner sofa(similar to the Lambright that many of us have retrofitted to) and possibly theater seating. Since the prototype is currently being built, there is little info about when it will be in production, but the prototype is scheduled to be completed in October. No, you can’t buy the prototype because I already did! If all goes well, our maiden voyage will be out to Vegas for Octoberfest!
I just noticed NIRVC has a 45X arriving sometime in near future. I wonder if it is the same coach configuration as the 45Y Gary is picking up.

Pretty close. The 45X was the initial plan that I saw quite a while back. It look like the 45Y is the final version because I can't imagine two floorplans that are that much alike. It looks like the bath vanity has been changed, different ottomans, a 100" coach option, etc.

Possibly the 45X was what was ordered but it will be shipped as the 45Y?

I appreciate your response. Tamora, at NIRVC, is trying to find some "good intel" on this coach. The "options" listed on NIRVC states the 100" option. Interesting prospect.

Mark, of course, is spot on. They were originally calling the new floorplan an X.
That is what I actually bought. They later changed it to the Y. I would guess since National Indoor was the selling dealer and they had a bit of a head start, they ordered the first production unit(s). My guess would be availability in December or early January. Angie at NIRVC would probably have the most information about the floor plan. As far as options are concerned, they are the same as other Cornerstones with the exception of the 4 choices of couches(see the first post).

It appears that the biggest difference I see in the 45X vs the 45Y is the cabinet and TV lift near the fireplace. I like the 45Y floor plan Gary uploaded with the TV on a televator and a big window behind. One of my criticisms of a lot of the Entegras is small windows in the living area. I like coaches like the Newells or even Alpines that have big windows and a TV that can drop out of view when not in use or on the road.

I agree. That's what I didn't like on the original 45A if you didn't order the desk. You got the entertainment center cabinet with a fixed TV and recliner. The desk got the large 30x60 window while the non-desk option got a small window. Fortunately for 2017 the desk is there and a second sofa option with power lift TV behind (and a big window) is available. That's much better although an optional pair of recliners instead of the curbside hide-a-bed would probably appeal to an even wider selection of potential buyers. That, and the couch with TV lift would be a great choice for those who don't want a desk, do want a couch and recliners. The two recliners could even have a small end table or cabinet in between them.
