The new arrival........2018 Aspire 44W

Well its has been close to 2 months and 4 dealers to finally land our home for the next 10 years........we hope........

The process through the dealership was good and bad.......I don't think you can get the service and thoroughness of a sale today like you did years ago.....just too many people buying, too many brands sold under one roof, and dealerships working with work staff that is swamped with setups, sales, warranty, parts, walk throughs......and on and on and on.

The dealer we chose was very cordial, friendly and tried to be as helpful as possible............I wouldn't want their jobs........

We left with only one thing not working and that was the front driver AC........they pulled the cold control of another Entegra even and that did not get it going. If we cross the wires at the cold control that monitors evaporator temperature it would fire right up....I am ordering another control tonight and will install it myself......$35 for one.

Already modded 3 things today.
Flipped the heat radiator in half bath to put heat into kitchen......Entegra doesnt even hook up the wires to it because the bath would get so hot........momma happy with more kitchen heat

Put switch on bed heat radiator.......we like it cool in the sleep shack and warm in the shower room.

Put HOT WATER Y valve on Clothes washer...........can not believe wash machines come with only cold water inlet today????? I am getting to old for all this save the planet BS

The BIG MOD will show how I do the 3 zone thermostat system install that I had in my Tiffen.........Runs the HVAC like a home.....auto cool/heat switching........programmable 7 day 4 event a day......remote air sensors that can be set from your chair...........Honeywell.....LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!

Finally sitting down with a cold one and taking in all the ENTEGRA that we have waited for........LIFE IS GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looking forward to sharing with you all on the Entegra forum
Pic taken on way home.......the long way to miss snow in Illinois and Wisconsin........spring is never coming

Nice write up Mitch. Are you saying there is only cold water going to the washing machine on a 2019?

I saw your BIG MOD and went WHAT!? Then I resized you were speaking of an Aspire, but that mod will also work and anything pre-Vega Touch.
Nice looking rig, looking forward to hearing more of your modifications on a 19. Thank you for sharing it really helps this forum to be as great as it is.

Welcome to the family. Folks on this forum are awesome. Have an issue and won’t take long before you have an answer. That and Entegra support confirms you made a good choice.

2018 ..... we just bought has Whirlpool washer and has only cold water inlet......added Y valve and now we have hot water added......

Modding an aspire for me is still better than the hassle of the Vega system...... I'm not sold on the "electronic computer" way these coaches are going.... Thus may be my last coach......

I am headed to Lowe's shortly and I will check if all whirlpool stackers are cold water only. It might just be model specific.

I'll bet a lot of Classic owner will be very interested on the thermostat mod.

The new green energy saving the planet era. ...... Next will be cold showers only......just wait.....

I know that the Vega does the HVAC like what I do.......but I can do it for thousands less and still turn my lights on with a switch and pull my shades down by hand. .....for us old people that's BIG........and I am 53 on Sunday

Checked the washer in our 2018 Cornerstone earlier today. Same story - only one water inlet on the washer, which Entegra connected to cold water side of a hot & cold water supply manifold. (The hot side is capped off.)

Mitch, thanks for the tip on installing a Y. Probably the closest thing to a fix that can be done without major surgery.

Maybe check THIS THREAD, also in your forum.

These new washers have heaters in them now.

Lots of changes in the newer models as there was in my move up to the Classic. I will again read all of the owners manuals so I will understand the new coach. I can see where mistakes can easily be made. I never would have imagined clothes washer to be like dishwashers with only cold water in until I read it in the owners manual under specifications, a place I wouldn't have looked if I was not looking for it, but I would have questioned why only one hose.

A good learning post as I wait for our new coach. Thanks

Hmm, I guess I can leave the Aqua Hot on electric when washing clothes. Time to re-read manuals again.
