Thetford water saver mode

For those that are dry camping and worried about how much water your toilet uses, the Thetford Aria Deluxe II toilet, has a water saver mode. Facing the toilet, on the right side underneath, there is a control box with a small toggle switch on it. If you flip the switch, it will then only squirt water as long as you push the button. This is is for the toilets that are positioned directly over the black tank and flush with the push of a button.

Yep, have that toilet in my rig. Depending on dry camping or full hookups I switch back and forth. Although with just me I don't use much water anyway.

Also remember that the toilet will lock itself out if you try to put too much water through, like trying to fill the black tank to 3/4 full before dumping. To clear it you need to turn the power off, then back on. I found an inline fuse in the back of mine and used that.

I leave my toilet in the water saver mode full time. As a result, I would like to move the flush switch up to the wall so its easier to get to, I am wondering if anyone has done it, I assume it would be pretty easy to just extend the wires although mounting it on the wall might be trickier
