Thor Ind. to adopt European standard in RV builds?

Thor Industry's Bob Martin has announced that Thor Industries has bought the largest European RV maker with the intent of incorporating Europe's reputation for superior construction standards, build inspections, and high RV build quality into their products....

WHOA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You mean the American RV industry might actually be toying with the idea of trying to build products that are highly reliable and trouble free (like most cars or trucks)? What a radical idea for an industry in the United States.....

Lets see how this effort gets off the ground. ... ..

Friends of ours purchased a Hymer 2 years ago. It spent much of its first year in the shop. I wouldn't bet on how much this new initiative will change how Thor produces RVs.

another way to save money

they will select the cost saving ideas and justify the rest as unnecessary...….

and similarly degrade the European construction with US cost saving ideas!

I'll bet they will export their "efficiency and Quality" to the Europeans. My regrets to the Europeans.
