They made that change in 21 right after my coach was built. I was checking to see if my batteries were in the new location when I saw one was bad at delivery, green and corroded.

Keep an eye on the voltage, they may start dropping down to 12.4 volts again .

I don't think you addressed the problem.

Never had a charging issue with the chassis batteries only the coach. I changed the chassis batterers because they were leaking before I had a problem. They were still showing 12.9v

I was addressing the OP.
He had a low chassis battery condition and was convinced to replace his batteries.
