I keep my spare keys in the toad. My coach fob died as I leave mine in the cup holder 24/7 which is "suppose" to shorten the life of the battery.
Got the spare set of keys in the toad, it was dead as well.. I think that eliminated the battery dying quicker if left next to the ignition.

The set in the toad was never near the ignition and they were both dead at the same time. Thankfully a spare card of button batteries were on board. I also keep the size for the awning remote.
