I remember, at least I think I remember, reading a post the other day about tire pressure monitoring systems that included a post or posts about tire pressure gauges. My problem is that I can't find the post or posts now. I would appreciate any comments the group might have about reliable, accurate tire pressure gauges, either analog or digital, although I think my preference would be digital.

I got a nice digital one at Lowes. I have also seen them at Sears. They should be available nearly everywhere for under $20. I suggest you get two, one digital and one analog. Then you can check their readings and if they both agree they are probably correct. Make sure whatever you get goes high enough. Some will not read over 100 psi.

I bought a large display digital gauge from Matco Tools. Many cheap gauges aren't accurate. What ever you buy check its accuracy. Most commercial tire centers have a calibrated air source and require their techs to check their gauges daily.
