Angry To seal or not to seal

WARNING; do not put a sealer over the clear. When we bought our 2015 Aspire, the dealership convinced me to put a sealer over the manufactures clear to keep it protected, at a cost of $1250. They said it would protect it from fading, cracking and staining. So, like an sucker I had it done. Well the last time I went to fuel up, I got to close to a tree, rubbed against some soft branches causing some surface scratches. I was heart broken, but called a detailer out, he buffed most of them out pretty good but some others would not buff out because the sealer would not let him get down to the clear coat and get them all to buff out. With the 3 coats of clear that EC puts on, you don't need the sealer. Just another way a dealership makes money.

Yea, we were suckered into it on our first coach. I didn't like the coach and traded it in six months later (took a big hit)... you know what the same dealer gave us extra for that expensive sealer? NOTHING! "Once I had no experience, but had some money...now I have the experience and the dealer has the money..."

If a dealer sells it, don't buy it until researched. If yo like the pruoduct, it can be purchased for usually less than 1/2 price of what dealers charge.
