"Toad" conversion complete

After being in 5th wheels and going to the Entegra, I've struggled with towing a "toad". I've gone from hauling our VW Passat on a car dolly to buying a new Chevy crew cab to pull behind us.

We ended up buying the 10k Aventa tow bars and Airforce one brake control. I didn't like how everything was mounted on the truck so I spent a little time looking for a better mounting solution. Everything was mounted lower on the truck and hard to get to at times. To make matters worse, I ended up dragging one end of the air hose ruining the air chuck so I converted the little 1/4 inch air connectors to the standard 3/8 connectors so they're easily replaced while on the road. I can now buy a replacement part anywhere.

I finally feel like I have everything complete and installed in one neat package. Now I just have to add a little paint

It was simple to make out of 1/8 aluminum and no cutting on the truck. Once it's removed, there wont be any traces of it.

Good idea. I am going to be shopping for a new Colorado or Canyon when we get home and you have given me a good idea, thanks for sharing.
