I'm only 5' 7" so headroom isn't the issue. But ease of towing is and I also tow a RAM 1500. Don't know it's behind me. Full size seating for four, 6' bed gives me additional storage options (carrying wood, propane spare, tools, etc. just don't over load). Switch to full neutral is so simple. My nephew owns a 2005 Bounder and tows a RAM as well. Loves it! He's the reason I bought one for towing. However, this is my 3rd RAM. No issues with any of them as daily drivers.

6’3” Here

I face the same fitting issues as I am also in the heavyweight class. The first thing I do in any new vehicle is check the headroom and legroom before I look at any other features.

I recently switched from a fifth wheel to a small coach and chose a low mileage 2011 Jeep Wrangler Sport (2 door) for my toad. It has plenty of room, is lightweight at 3,800 pounds and is fun to drive. It is much easier to tour in than the F-250 we used for our 5th wheel.

I use the plug and play brake system so I just put the transfer case into neutral and turn the brake switch box on and it’s ready to go.

I’m 6’3” with a 36 inseam. Our Chevrolet Equinox provides plenty of leg and headroom.

Fiat 500

I am 6’3” and surprisingly fit comfortably in a Fiat 500 (Abarth). This is a light vehicle that with the manual transmission is easily towed four down. The steering wheel does not lock. Just put it in neutral and go. I am on my second set of tires and the odometer has very few miles on it.

The back seats fold down for extra space for Costco/Walmart re-supply trips. It also get 30+ mpg around town when you are on a side trip.

I have a 2008 Mini Cooper Clubman 6 sp standard. There is enough headroom for my son who is 6'7". Tows easily at 2700#. I'm getting out of the RV travel mode. Newer Minis may not be towable and stick shift anything are getting rare

Kia Soul but:
1) Need to be careful of what model you get. Only one option is towable 4 down.
2) Gets terrible reviews for reliability. Lots of infant mortalities but after a few 1000 miles it is OK.

Plus side: Cheap and light.

Toad Types

I tow a 2022 Ford F-150 4x4 Lariat P/U with my 2021 Entegra Reatte 40 Diesel Pusher. The 4x4 can be flat towed. My truck weighs 4800 lbs.
I did google your motorhome and it states weight Towing Capacity. 5,000 lbs. I would check with manufacturers on weight capacity. Hope this helps.

It’s pretty funny how no one really reads any of the posts before posting. OP has not responded to anything and has obviously moved on!

OP thanked me a few days ago and commented he was probably buying a Jeep Wrangler. I assume he did others also. Not everyone on here has done forums much so go easy on the guy.

In this month's issue of the RV Magazine that Camping World publishes there was a list of towables for 2023. The table has lots of useful information.

Jeep Wrangler, 4 door, I'm 6'2", plenty of head and leg room. Quiet, versatile. FUNMOBILE with built in off road capability, towing capacity, room for 5 plus cargo and LOADS of aftermarket accessories for even more functionality.
