There aren't a lot of choices, and getting fewer with each passing month it seems....

Google towing four down. Used to be a list every year from FMCA but don't think they do it anymore.... but when last seen, the choices were getting significantly more limited than 10 years ago..... and hope you and your partner love Jeeps...

6` 3" driver-possible tow vehicle.

We use a 2011 Buick Enclave. Seems to have plenty of headroom, seats 6 or 7 . comfortable and tows well. Using Air Force One braking system. Weight is approx. 5000 lbs.

I’m a bit over 6’ and went with a 2020 Ford Ranger lariat crew cab. . I usually sit tall and have a lot of trouble with headroom in vehicles. Plenty of headroom. About 4400 lbs. very useful to have the truck bed to use as a trailer when it’s in toad mode!

We use a 2 door Jeep Wrangler and I’m 6’ 4”.

Make all the easy hookups. No steering wheel lock. Throw the transfer case in neutral and go.

Works as a toad and allows us to go off-road exploring.

Very popular as a toad .

Toad Suggestions for 6'3 Driver

This is absolutely a personal choice! What are you driving now? That is your budget? What versions of what you are driving now is towable cause nobody is going to buy a towable for just towing.

If you have a 5000 pound limit a pickup is out.
We tow a Ford Edge SUV. It weights about 4200 pounds.
I am 6’ 1’’ and it works. I would not call it a big vehicle though.

Jeep Grand Cherokee. Lots of room and tow it 4-down.

But a midsize pickup works. Our Colorado tips the "free" scale, that nobody likes at 4480 lbs. Plenty of room for a tall person.

Any vehicle with a disconnectable drive shaft can be made to tow. I towed a 2009 Toyota Tacoma, 2WD, for weight, with a Remco Drive Shaft Disconnect. Worked great for 5 years, actually easier to get ready to tow than my current 4WD Colorado. The prices have doubled since I purchased mine, but what hasn't. Might work if you have something now you would like to make towable without buying another vehicle. https://www.alldrivelines.com/custom...-drive-shafts/
