I’ve got a fuel filter

We are fairly close to you, just pulled into Rush no More KOA in Sturgis. We should have all replacement filters in our basement, we have a 2016 Anthem. Let me know if I can help. I’m not sure how to PM but you can call me 713-823-9180. Mark Nelson.

Sorry about your day.

Thanks, Richard. I ordered a new tow and crossbar from RM. They are overnighting it to my Missoula destination. For now DW and I are tandem driving the last leg our journey

Sorry to hear about your adventure ...... many of us have had days very similar to yours.... its happens. You start to wonder if you are living right when those days start to unwind on you, and its never when you are just killing time at home as a retired man with nothing to do, no, it only happens when you are on a major adventure.

I had a terrible day yesterday just returning 2.5 miles from a state park where we fled to just get away from the house. I learned a bunch of stuff yesterday which I will begin a new thread or two about tonight..... You never stop learning.

Just interested, you keep using RM in relation to your tow bar.... you mean RoadMaster?

Keep thee head up.... still have fun.... eventually all this will pass and you will be on the road again...

Gary

Yes, Roadmaster. They supposedly sent a tower overnight to Missoula. However, I have yet to see a charge on my CC and the tracking number they sent me doesn't exist. I am waiting for them to open so I call and inquire

RM might be interested in looking at the tow bar. Pretty impressive that the legs didn't break in two being bent like that. I'd say your lucky but I'm sure you have other words!

Hopefully all your travel whoa's are over!

The tow and crossbars did their job absorbing much of the impact. I was lucky in that regard. The motorhome was unscathed

Dang Virginians.

There's a Bretz RV (https://www.bretzrv.com/) in both Billings and Missoula. It's possible that they might have replacement tow parts.

Good luck getting it all put back together.

Take care,
Stu

Just FYI... in my post above, that statement should read "... 2.5 hours drive...", not 2.5 miles. Sorry.

Wow! That must of been some shot you took! What the heck are people thinking, or not! When something like this happens to me I always say “well there must be a reason”. As long as everybody’s OK. Remember, Your plans ain’t always his plans!
