Toilet access in the road

Several discussions about toilet access on the road. This is our 45Y with slides in and 2 110 pound dogs for perspective. We lose about 6” where the aft kitchen counter protrusion comes into the doorway. Bathroom area doesn’t shrink at all with slides retracted.

I'm not aware of any bathroom areas that shrink with the slides retracted. The common problem is that "access" to the bathroom is often blocked with slides retracted. That is not the case with yours; others are not so lucky.

Agree, just wanted to show our access is not restricted. Several others on the Forum have ordered 45Ys.

Looks about the same as the 44B as far as room enough to get to the 2nd toilet while on the road.

In ours unless I gain about 150lb have plenty of room.

Looks like you may have to wait to get to yours, dog is 1st in line?

How is the access to the bedroom? Can an average person fit through the area that is left to get to the bed?

Looks to me like stepping on one of those dogs on the way to the potty could cause some problems.

Luck has nothing to do with it. Just don't buy units that limit access. I would never consider buying anything where the bedroom bathroom, or refrigerator cant be used without opening a slide. JMO.

Thanks for the picture.

I hope more RV manufacturers start taking us big dog owners into consideration. They don't realize that our dogs just don't bend in certain ways!

Our guys don’t move if we step over them. In fact, they often don’t move if we step on them! They do respond to “Move” and squeeze past us or go the other way and give us room. They’re good RVers!

Just picked up our Y - The picture is accurate. FWIW our 6LB Yorkie has no issues...... Just don't get in his way

We have been looking for a picture of a 2013 aspire 42DEQ closed up so we can see if there is ample room to access the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom when on the road.

We can only find interior pictures with the slides open.
