Total Vision Camera

I think I saw a posting on here about upgrading the stock backup camera to Total Vision. I've only had my Entegra for a few days, so I haven't played around with any camera settings (if there are any) but the stock camera in the Insignia appears to be worthless, especially at night. If you have upgraded, please let me know the approximate cost and where you had the work done.

It IS worthless, especially at night. I did the TV upgrade in my Insignia. What a difference. I opted to mount the 9" on the dash as opposed to in the console.

I'm happy to help if you have any specific questions

Buddy, did you do the work yourself? Can I ask what the upgrade cost? I need to justify the cost to my finance manager. For some reason I get to work for the money but she gets to control spending.

If you have the 2 camera split system (hitch/ horizon) it is sensitive to grime.

Each camera has 9 IR floods that reflect backward into the camera, if the protective glass cover is dirty.

I did not. I had it professionally installed along with my sound system, some led lights and a few other things. I would estimate the install was about $900

Yup. Had to login on the PC and it was super easy to set up. Now back on the mobile and it still displays.
