Anyone know where replacement lights above the couch can be purchased? These are touch operated LED lights and develop an annoying flicker when they get older.

Then there is the issue of how to replace them, the pigtails disappearing into the woodwork only have 2” or to play with..

Never replaced those lights.

However with other lights with short wire leads, I've had to gently pull to get more wire and there usually have been wire nuts or crimp connectors so you can break the wiring there.... Have you tried to see if there is more wire with some gentle pulling?

I bought 2 spares of the non touch models (one small one large) for about 5 bucks each from Entegra parts free shipping to boot. I'm sure the touch model for over the couch/tv viewing seats will be a bit more but porbably not crazy expensive.

The picture shows the light unscrewed from the wood and pulled out as far as it can go. Tried gently pulling with no luck, and since that is 24AWG wire I don't want to break it.

Looks like I will have to remove contents in the cabinets then remove the "floor" of the cabinet to get at the wires. Quite a pain, really, but the flickering is very annoying so I guess it is another afternoon to do a 5 minute fix.

I replaced mine a while back with a flush mount style that was remotely dimmable, but there was more work involved than with a surface mount. I also added a switch to be able to shut them off completely and separate them from the sconce light which is also now dimmable.

In any case keep fiddling with the wiring, it is probably just hung up on something. Try removing the other two lights and adjusting the harness. There is a connector or butt crimp in there somewhere that should pull out. The floor of the cabinet is probably stapled down so will be somewhat destructive to remove it.
